The 12 Brands Representing the Philippines in Milan 2026 — and Why They Were Chosen

The New Vanguard of Filipino Design

The second edition of FASHIONPhilippines Milan has unveiled its roster of 12 brands set to exhibit at Fondazione Sozzani during Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027, from September 22 to 24, 2026. This isn’t just a list of designers; it’s a carefully curated portfolio reflecting the breadth of Filipino creativity and the strategic requirements for global market entry. The lineup offers a cross-section of contemporary Filipino design, from fine jewelry to conceptual womenswear.

A Curated Cross-Section of Talent

The 12 participating brands are Adam Pereyra Jewelry, Bagasáo, Calli, Ched Studio, Idyllic Summers, Iñigo, Jun Escario, Orias, Palengke, Renz Reyes, Viña Romero, and Ziv Rei Alexi. Each brings a distinct perspective, yet they share a common thread: a strong design identity paired with the potential to scale.

The selection criteria were deliberate. Organizers focused on brands that demonstrated not only creativity but also the operational capacity to succeed internationally. This means designers like Adam Pereyra, known for intricate artisanal jewelry, and Bagasáo, with its structural elegance, were assessed on their ability to meet wholesale demands, manage international logistics, and engage with European buyers.

Voices from the Inaugural Cohort

The 2026 cohort benefits from the lessons learned by the first batch of participants. Designer Adam Pereyra described the previous experience as “calibration,” stating it refined his understanding of branding, material integrity, and communication for international audiences. Ched Dalogaog of Ched Studio noted that the program provided crucial insights into balancing creativity with commercial discipline.

For Steffi Cua of Idyllic Summers, the mentorship pushed the brand to strengthen its operational and retail strategies. Tessa Nepomuceno of CALLI emphasized that the mentorship helped position their products for European buyers while maintaining Filipino craftsmanship. These testimonials highlight a crucial shift: these brands are not just presenting collections; they are building businesses primed for the global stage. The return of several brands from the inaugural edition alongside new participants signals a commitment to fostering long-term, sustainable growth for Filipino fashion on the international scene.
